Creative Living Environments, Inc specializes in residential design and planning for single family homebuilders. Principle designer, Ron Morris graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Architecture in 1969. After graduate studies in Urban Design at the Univ. of Texas, Ron spent 5 years as an Urban Planner for the City of Dallas. In 1975, he assumed the position of land planner for Centex Homes in Texas, platting over 50,000 lots in the next ten years. Then for over 10 years he served as Vice President for Design with M/I Homes, a major East Coast Builder. In the mid 90's Morris formed Creative Living Environments, Inc.
With projects in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Oregon, Colorado, and Arkansas, Morris, a nationally certified professional member of AIBD, is a respected home designer and land planner. In the past 40 years he has received more than 200 awards for residential design and planning. He has been a speaker at NAHB state and national conventions. He is the designer of The Development Game which has been featured in Builder magazine.
